Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge is located on the banks of the Madre de Dios River some 30 minutes from Puerto Maldonado. The lodge has 14 bungalows made of wood and come with a pleasant deck with two hammocks from where you can appreciate the fabulous sunsets.
The spacious restaurant offers delicious food prepared by the French chef who combines imaginative dishes with local products. Very special attention is also given to our vegetarian customers.
Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge offers you an experience based on solid ecologically concerns in the Amazonian rainforest.
This lodge will be the starting point of expeditions through the jungle. You will visit Lake Sandoval, whose fauna and flora are stunning and luxuriant, the Monkey Island, the parrots’ clay lick, as well as a large variety of trees and medicinal and curative plants such as Ayahuasca.
Corto Maltes Amazonia Lodge occupies a surface area of 60 hectares and is lined with a quebrada (a river coming from the depths of the jungle) which is protected by the Tambopata Candamo National Reserve.
