ITINERARY
 
Day 1: Lima
Arrival in Lima, reception and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Lima
After breakfast, a tour briefing before your city tour of Lima; including a guided visit to the Cathedral, the Main Square and the San Francisco Catacombs. After lunch at Rosa Nautica, the foremost seafood restaurant in Lima, private transfer to Nazca. Arrival and overnight accommodation in Nazca.

Day 3: Nazca Lines
Today we fly over the spectacular Nazca lines, gigantic drawings and figures engraved in the desert, some of which are over 2000 years old. A tour of Chauchilla cemetery before transferring to Paracas, located on the coast of Peru. Overnight accommodation.

Day 4: Ballestas Islands
A tour by boat to the Ballestas islands, commonly referred to as the "little Galapagos", here you will see an amazing concentration of sea birds and sea lions in their natural habitat. Return to the mainland before visiting the Paracas National Reserve, the only coastal reserve in Peru. Lunch is not included. Return to Lima in the late afternoon and overnight accommodation.

Day 5: Cuzco
Flight to Cuzco, the ancient capital of the Incas. A guided tour of Cuzco will include visits to the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay and the Qoricancha temple. Dinner and folkloric show in the evening. Overnight accommodation.

Day 6: Sacred Valley -Ollantaytambo
Excursion to Urubamba, the sacred valley of the Incas with a visit to the ancient Inca market of Pisac followed by a trip to the Pisac ruins above the town. Lunch before continuing the tour to Ollantaytambo, site of the last undefeated bastion of the Inca Empire. Overnight accommodation in Ollantaytambo.

Day 7: Machu Picchu
Early train journey to Aguas Calientes for a full day's guided tour of Machu Picchu, the most spectacular ancient city in the world. Free time before overnight accommodation in Aguas Calientes.

Day 8: Machu Picchu
Opportunity to revisit Machu Picchu at sunrise. Free time to enjoy this unforgettable site before returning to Cuzco aboard the afternoon train. Last night’s accommodation in the Inca capital.

Day 9: Cuzco - Puno
Departure by private vehicle to Puno visiting en route several Inca ruins and the remains of the great Viracocha temple, Raqchi. We shall also stop at the highest point along the way, La Raya before arriving to Puno and transferring to your hotel for overnight accommodation.

Day 10: Lake Titicaca
After breakfast, transfer to the port for the boat trip on Lake Titicaca to the reed islands of Uros. A visit to the Aymara island of Taquile before returning in the afternoon to Puno. Overnight accommodation.

Day 11: Arequipa
Morning flight to Arequipa, the most beautiful city in Peru. City tour of the "white city", including the 16th century convent which is built entirely of volcanic lava. The Misti Volcano stands as a sentinel behind this colonial city. Overnight accommodation.

Day 12: Colca Canyon
After breakfast, we drive through some wonderful scenery towards the Colca canyon, witnessing groups of wild alpacas, vicuñas and guanacos in their natural habitat. Arrical to Chivay, the main town of the canyob in time for lunch. Transfer to your hotel, the Colca Lodge, located in the canyon itself. Free afternoon for personal leisure.

Day 13: Arequipa
An early start to visit the Colca canyon, the second deepest canyon in the world (the deepest canyon lies only a few kilometres from here). We shall also have an opportunity to see the huge condor, the world’s largest flying bird before returning to Arequipa. Overnight accommodation.

Day 14: Lima
Return flight to Lima and transfer to your hotel. Last night’s accommodation in Peru.
