Lunch at the internationally acclaimed Rosa Nautica seafood restaurant, strategically located on a pier and extending into the Pacific Ocean. After lunch, a visit to the Gold Museum. After breakfast, flight to Cuzco, reception and transfer to the 5* deluxe Inkaterra La Casona Hotel. Afternoon guided visit of the four ruins nearby; the Sacsayhuaman Fortress overlooking the city of Cuzco, a pre Inca architectural masterpiece; Kenko, a rock sanctuary whose main attraction is the monolithic altar representing a puma, the red Fortress of Puca-Pucara and Tambomachay, a beautiful fountain fed by a spring forming a series of basins continue to the city of Cuzco; the Main Square, the Cathedral and the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun. Dinner and folkloric show in the evening.

Day 4 (Tuesday): Sacred Valley    (Breakfast & Lunch)
Full-day excursion to Urubamba, the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Visit the village of Pisac, founded during Colonial times. On Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays the Indians barter their products, and artisans from all over the area sell their woven alpaca wool blankets and ponchos, engraved gourds, antique reproductions and jewellery. On Sundays, it is also the meeting place for the local Mayors of the region, who come dressed in their traditional costumes, to attend morning mass. After buffet lunch at the Sol Y Luna Restaurant, a visit to Ollantaytambo, the only Inca town which is still inhabited. Explore the ruins above Ollantaytambo before returning to Cuzco via the traditional market town of Chinchero.

Day 5 (Wednesday): Machu Picchu    (Brunch)
Enjoy a good night's sleep before your private transfer at 9AM to Poroy, a short distance from Cuzco. Boarding of the luxurious Hiram Bingham train to Aguas Calientes. This Orient Express train is the most exclusive way to visit Machu Picchu and includes a hearty brunch aboard the train. Guides will also be available to answer any questions. Arrival to Aguas Calientes, assistance with your luggage and boarding of the bus to your hotel, where you will check in to your suite at the deluxe Inkaterra Machu Picchu Pueblo Hotel. Guided visit of the most spectacular ancient city in the world. This fabulous city contains houses, temples, warehouses, a large central square; and all connected by narrow roads and steps that are surrounded by terraces cut into the mountain side. After the tour, free time to enjoy this spiritual wonder. Opportunity for a guided trek (approx 1 hour) up to the sungate (Intipunku), which is a part of the Inca Trail, for a magical view of the sanctuary or alternatively an unguided climb to the top of Wayna Picchu, with a magnificent view of the whole Sanctuary (recommended for fit individuals only). Return to your deluxe hotel.

Day 6 (Thursday): Machu Picchu    (Breakfast & Dinner)
Early opportunity to return to the site and enjoy a wonderful sunrise over Machu Picchu. Time for some private reflection. Today no guide is provided as we feel that Machu Picchu requires a certain amount of self discovery to be fully understood. Take any of the several paths around various parts of the site (we will provide a map to help you), trek up to Wayna Picchu or walk down to the Inca's bridge. Let Machu Picchu unfold all its mysteries for you, take in the breathtaking cloud forests and jagged mountains, or marvel at the extraordinary Masonic precision of the ancient Incas. Either way, your day of self discovery will be a day never to be forgotten. Some free time to visit the colourful town before boarding the Hiram Bingham train in the early evening. Return in style, converse with your fellow passengers and guides and enjoy cocktails followed by a four course dinner. Reception and transfer to the 5* Deluxe Casa Cartagena Hotel for your final night in Cuzco.

Day 7 (Friday): Cuzco - Puno    (Breakfast, Packed Lunch, Dinner)
Spectacular road journey across the stunning altiplano to Puno, in an Amazing Peru Private Vehicle, accompanied by a private, group escort. Lying on the shores of Lake Titicaca, the highest navigable lake in the world, Puno is also the folkloric capital of Peru. Transfer to your accommodation at the 5* Deluxe Inkaterra Titilaka Hotel. Experience Lake Titicaca on a secluded private peninsula. Titilaka ia a luxury refuge where you will enjoy your sumptuous lake view dawn suite, whilst watching the dramatic sunrise and the spectacular sunset.

Return to Puno and to your deluxe hotel.

Day 9 (Sunday): Puno - Juliaca - Lima    (Breakfast)
