Reception and transfer to the deluxe 5* Hotel Alvear Palace, a member of the “Leading Hotels of the world group” for four night’s accommodation. Free day to wander around the city.
Day 2. BUENOS AIRESYour first day of golfing begins at the wonderful Olivis Golf course, considered one of the best courses in Argentina. With currently 27 holes, its design and beauty makes it an unrivalled choice. This course is a regular on the Argentinean Open rotation and has attracted big names including golden bear himself, Jack Nicklaus. You will be met at your hotel by an English-speaking Golf assistant and transferred privately to the club. Half or full day’s golfing including green fee, caddies and rental of golf clubs. Return to your hotel.
Day 3. BUENOS AIRESAfter breakfast, an opportunity to enjoy the fabulous city of Buenos Aires, with most of the population of European descent, the city is reminiscent of Paris. It is situated on the Rio de la Plata, and as its name suggests, it is the city of good winds. A private city tour will include a visit to the Plaza de Mayo, the hub of the city centre and where many public buildings such as the Catedral Metropolitana can be found. At the east end, you will find the Casa Rosada presidential palace with the famous balcony from which Juan and Evita Peron greeted the masses. A visit will also be lade to the Teatro Colon, found at the intersection of Cirrito and Tucuman the world-class opera house that opened in 1908 with a presentation of Aida. It seats 2500 spectators and offers standing room for another 1000. There is also a museum featuring instruments, costumes and photographs of performers.
You shall also visit La Boca, Buenos Aires’ most colourful neighbourhood. San Telmo, just a few blocks south of Plaza de Mayo is the artist’s quarter, what some believe to be Buenos Aires’ most interesting feature.
A final visit to Recoleta, a very fashionable area where you can visit the fine arts museum, called Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes, and the city’s gardens of Plaza Alvear and Plaza Francia. The latter hosts the largest crafts fair in the city every Sunday. Lunch at the La Bourgogne, the only Relais Gourmand in Argentina. The restaurant serves the finest French and international food in the city and according to Travel & Leisure magazine rated La Bourgogne the number one restaurant in South America, and Wine Spectator gave it the distinction of being one of the "Best Restaurants in the World for Wine Lovers." Return to your hotel.
In the evening, dinner & tango Show in La Esquina Carlos Gardel, the foremost tango house in Buenos Aires.
Your second day of golf will be at the Jockey Club Buenos Aires, one of the most prestigious in South America with 6635 yard. and par 72. The Club was started as a society for Argentina's elite in the late 19th century and throughout the years the club has offered horse-racing, polo and golf to many distinguished people. The Red and Blue courses were built by the famous course designer Dr. Alister Mackenzie in 1930. The course also hosted the 2001 Argentine Open as part of the European Tour circuit.
Again you will be met at your hotel by an English-speaking Golf assistant and transferred privately to the club. Choice of half or full day’s golfing including green fee, caddies and rental of golf clubs. Return to your hotel and your last night in the great city.
In the morning an option of a third round of golf at the Bella Vista Golf Club, a beautiful course that was the site of the 2000 EMC World Cup that was won by the United States team of Tiger Woods and David Duval.
Afternoon transfer to the airport for the flight to Bariloche. Arrival and transfer to the deluxe Llao Llao Golf & Spa Resort, a member of the “Leading Hotels of the world group”.
Located on a secluded hill between lakes Nahuel Huapi and Moreno, the resort offers all amenties including an 18 hole golf course, fishing and hunting facilities and full spa treatment.
A round of golf in fabulous hilly countryside with many doglegs and tight fairways that need accuracy to score well. You will also have free access to the health club and all other recreational activities within the resort as well as a la carte lunch and dinner (excluding drinks).
Day 7. BARILOCHEYour second and final round of golf at the Arelauquen Resort located just a few miles from your hotel. This is another 18 hole golf resort designed by the great Vicente ’Chino’ Fernandez. Return to your hotel. Free evening.
Day 8. BARILOCHE – BUENOS AIRESAfter breakfast, private transfer to the airport for your return flight to Buenos Aires and your onward connecting flight home.
