ITINERARY
Day 1. LIMA

Arrival to Lima city and private transfer to your hotel, Las Americas. Check in to your hotel.

Day 2. LIMA (Breakfast)

After breakfast, a guided visit of Lima. The tour includes the cathedral where the remains of Pizzaro are, the main square, the San Francisco Convent and its eerie catacombs. Continue the tour of San Isidro and Miraflores districts. Return to your hotel.

Day 3. LIMA - CUZCO (Breakfast)

After breakfast, a private transfer to the airport for the flight to Cuzco. Arrival and transfer to your hotel, Aranwa. Your hotel will be oxygenated to lessen the effects of the altitude. Free morning. In the afternoon, a guided visit of Cuzco including the beautiful Cathedral, the ancient temple of the sun or Qoricancha temple, and the Main Square. The tour will continue to the outskirts of the city to visit the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, Tambomachay, Qenko and Puka Pukara.

Day 4. CUZCO - SACRED VALLEY-PISAC-OLLANTAYTAMBO (Breakfast & lunch)

After breakfast, tour of the Sacred Valley visiting Pisac market where on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, locals barter their products. After lunch, a visit to Ollantaytambo, and the Inca ruins on the hillside. Transfer to your hotel, the Rio Sagrado, a beautiful Orient Express property in the Sacred Valley.

Day 5. OLLANTAYTAMBO - MACHU PICCHU (Breakfast & dinner)

After breakfast, transfer to the railway station for the morning train to Aguas Calientes. You will travel with your private guide who will be available to answer any questions.
Upon arriving, check-in to your hotel, the Machu Picchu Pueblo. Take the short bus trip up to Machu Picchu and enjoy a private, guided tour of Machu Picchu, the most fantastic ancient Inca city.Constructed by Pachacutec, Machu Picchu blends into the mountain side high up in the Andes. The city has houses, temples, a large central square which are all connected. There are also terraces in the mountain side which were used for agriculture. Return to your hotel for accommodation and dinner.

Day 6. MACHU PICCHU - CUZCO (Breakfast)

Today you will have a free day in Machu Picchu. No guide today but you will have the entrance tickets. Return to your hotel for lunch before returning to Cuzco by train. Transfer to your hotel, the Aranwa.

Day 7. CUZCO - LIMA (Breakfast)

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for the flight back to Lima and for your connecting return flight home.
